JUNIOR
ACHIEVEMENT MINI CORVETTE CHALLENGE Presented by Martin Group
April 21, 2007
The 2007 Junior
Achievement Mini Corvette Challenge presented by Houchens Industries
will take place at Greenwood Mall outside of Sears on Saturday,
April 21, 2007. More than twenty-five miniature Corvette go-carts
will take to the pavement in a race around the track for the coveted
Gold Cup.
Participants
and spectators alike will experience the thrill of competition as
quick pit stops and sharp turns challenge the skill of both drivers
and crew members.
Since it's beginning
in 1995, the Mini Corvette challenge has grown to be a premier family
event in the heart of the home of the Corvette. You'll find delicious
food from vendors, inflatable games, children's activities, and
a Cool Car and Bike Show - displaying everything from Harley-Davidsons
to Mustangs... and of course.... Corvettes.
Area schools
should sign in at the student sign in tent. The school with the
highest percentage of their students signed in will be crowned the
winner of the Papa John's Pride Cup and receive $500 for their school.
